Dates: February 20th - 22nd

This year’s event will be shorter than usual due to the HG World Championships, which will be held from February 28th till March 13th in this same location; however we thought it could be a great opportunity for those competing in the Worlds to get some “extra training” and, for those who are not competing in the Worlds, to be able to enjoy of this great flying area enjoying a smaller scale competition.

The “El Peñón Classic Race 2015” is already sanctioned and will count towards the World Pilot Ranking System (WPRS), so remember to have your FAI license up to date!

The registration fee for the Open Class is $75 (usd). We are also organizing a retrieve service for those pilots who are interested or need it; it will cost $60 (usd) + gas expenses for the 3 days. For this, we do need a minimum of 6 pilots to require the service.

Please fill out the registration form and, make sure to fill out all the necessary details including whether you need retrieve or not. There is a competition waiver that you need to complete, sign and send back by email as well. Once you have completed your application, you will receive an email with the necessary information for payment and the waiver. Please keep in mind that it is very important for the organization to be able to know how many participants we will have as soon as possible so that we can organize things in the best possible way; for this reason, there will be a small surcharge of $20 (usd)for pilots paying last minute.
